‘Chiatura-Zeda Rgani’ was built in 1966 and rehabilitated in 2024 by GeoSpecTrans. It is considered a cultural heritage monument and has preserved its authenticity.
The inclination angle of the cableway's chord is 48.35%, making it the steepest cableway in Europe.

The village of Zeda Rgani is located in the Chiatura municipality (Sarkveltubani community) on the Chiatura Plateau in the Kvirila River Valley. It is 600 meters above sea level and 7 kilometers away from Chiatura.
The village has a manganese mine and a quartz sand quarry.
Zeda Rgani is unique for its panoramic views of Chiatura city and the Kvirila River Valley. It features Georgia's steepest aerial cableway.
